Two of the most common reasons cited for not couponing: it’s not worth the time, and you can only find coupons for junk food. Well, I’m here to dispel both of those myths.
All of the food that you see pictured here was obtained free with coupons. That’s:
- (1) whole chicken
- 3-lbs of onions
- (2) bottle of sparkling apple cider
- (2) jars of unsweetened apple sauce
- (2) 4-packs of Izze natural soda
- (2) 12-oz. jugs of milk
- (2) tangerines
- (2) bunches of bananas
It’s all food that I feel good about feeding my family, and I spent less than five minutes printing coupons to get it. I think that’s a pretty compelling case for couponing.
Want to get free groceries, too? Here’s how to get started:
1. Visit our Printable & Electronic Coupons Page to grab the latest coupons.
2.Bookmark our Coupons for Real Food post. It gets updated once a week with coupons for wholesome foods and ingredients, like fruit, cheese, meat and baking supplies.
3.Follow your favorite brands on Facebook to snag high-value coupons (That’s how I got the coupons for the Izze soda). Then, sign up for their newsletters, too (that’s how I got a lot of the other free stuff).
