Whip up a batch of taco bowls for tostados or taco salads. Here’s how they’re made:
How to Make Taco Bowls
- Corn tortillas
- Cooking oil
Step 1: Place a damp paper towel over a stack of tortillas, and heat in the microwave for 30 seconds.
Step 2: Brush both sides of the tortillas with oil, and lightly salt.
Step 3: Flip a muffin tin over, and fit the tortillas into the spaces between the cups.
Step 4: Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes, or until your taco bowls are crispy. Then, fill them with beans, meat, veggies, salsa, sour cream and cheese.
- Make a batch of crockpot refried beans to stick in your taco bowls
- Sprinkle the tortillas with sugar and cinnamon (instead of salt) to create ice cream bowls
