Curb Find Corner Cabinet: Before & After

The kids are out on a two-week fall break, so I’ve been knocking out lots of projects, including fixing up this corner cabinet that we picked up from a curb pile a couple weeks ago.
It was very much in need of a good scrub and a paint job, so that’s exactly what it got.
I used the same Sky Fall blue paint from Sherwin Williams (SW 9049) that I used on the farm table. After two coats, it looked like a completely different piece of furniture.
It had only ever been painted once, so I was able to get a really smooth finish.
Once it was dry, we hauled it back into the living room of our cabin.
We haven’t started on the finishing work yet, but once we have interior walls in the living room, we’ll finish installing the cabinet. It’s going to need a piece of trim across the bottom.
See how the blue contrasts with the dark green floors? Love it! I can’t wait to show you the whole color palette for the cabin, and what I have planned for the walls.
Looks very nice.
God bless.
Very good job Erin. Goes to show us all what a little paint and time can do. Enjoy!
