Use them to hang laundry, as chip clips or to hold a pile of papers together – there’s no limit to the usefulness of clothespins. And when you dress them up with little bits of scrapbook paper, they become gift-worthy, too. Here’s how to make a set like you see above:
What You’ll Need:
Clothespins
Scrapbook paper
Mod Podge (or similar)
A paint brush
Scissors
What You Do:
Step 1: Cut out strips of paper to fit on the tops of your clothespins.
Step 2: Glue the strips down with Mod Podge, and let dry.
Step 3: Apply a coat of Mod Podge over top of the paper, and wait for it to dry. Repeat two more times.
Tips:
- Dollar Tree sells a 36-pack of clothespins for a buck
- Make a set of wool dryer balls to go with your clothespins, and you’ll have a laundry-themed gift
