My mother-in-law gets points for teaching my husband how to bake and cook. He and I pretty much split the baking and cooking duties 50-50. Nice, huh?
Homemade biscuits happen to be one of his specialties, and he’s fond of reminding me that he once won a 4-H biscuit competition. As long as he keeps making me things to eat, I’ll let him brag 🙂
Here’s his recipe for biscuits.
Easy Biscuits
Cook Time:
10-11 mins
Ingredients
2 cups flour
2 Tbsp sugar
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/3 cup vegetable oil (we use canola)
2/3 cup milk
What You Do:
Combine all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
Use a cookie scoop or ice cream scoop to form the biscuits (use your hands, if you want larger biscuits). Place them on a cookie sheet.
Bake at 475 degrees for 10-11 minutes.
