Equip Your Car for Yard Saling/Curb Shopping

The return of warm weather means the return of yard sale and curb shopping season. Equip your car with the right gear, so you’ll be ready to snag those deal when you spot them. Here’s what I keep in my car (and what I recommend keeping in yours) …
- Hammer
- Adjustable wrenches
- Diagonal cutting pliers
- Slip joint pliers (not pictured)
- Allen wrench set
- Screwdriver set (flat head and Phillips)
- Torx screwdriver set
- Measuring tape
- An assortment of ropes, straps and bungee cords
- A blanket (for wrapping things)
- Red safety flag (for when you’re transporting something that extends past your truck bed or hangs out your trunk)
- Non-slip rubber mats
- High-visibility safety vest
With these supplies on hand, you should be ready to dismantle and haul just about anything you come across. Let the treasure hunting begin!
