Re: Small Goals - Pennies to Dollars

Well when it rains, it pours. Not only do I need that tree taken out, I have some dental work to get done that I had hoped to put off until winter - but that isn't going to work. I'm not in pain, per se, but let's just say it can't wait that long - or I WILL be in pain. That is going to "knock thing...

Re: My 2021 Challenge

Janet, I know what it feels like when you seem to be just treading water. I am in a similar situation that has knocked the wind out of my sails - have been making so much progress and doing so well - was even planning to start saving to replace my old car - and now I need extensive dental work that ...

Re: Are Your Meals More Simple or More Complex?

I cook for basically two people. Once a week DS eats supper with us. When he was young, I did a main dish, couple of veggies, a starch and a fruit at every supper. Re: Small Goals - Pennies to Dollars

My daughter paid her July rent early and I put the full amount into savings. I'm waving the $20 she owes on June electric because they are taking my dogs on extra walks every day - very good for the dogs and well worth $20. Still scared to call for that tree removal estimate but need to do it before...

Re: Daily Check-In, June 20, 2021

Good Morning Everyone. It's a lovely day here, sunshine, blue sky. I feel much better than I did yesterday - at least I feel awake, lol. I have a couple of minor household chores to do today and bill paying - other than that, a whole lot of relaxing. I may grab a book off the shelf and sit outside a...
