Re: Clothesline & Wooden Clothes Drying Rack Users

Wow I can't imagine having to hide what you do in your own back yard from peeping neighbors. Like it's any of their business. Why even bother with privacy fences? I have three wooden drying racks. Since my house sits on a crawl space all the duct work is below which means most of my vents are floor ...

Re: Reusable Cloth Grocery Bags

I have reusable bags I have used for several years. They do wear out after awhile so I sometimes have to replace them. As of November 9th stores are required to charge ten cents per plastic (and I think paper) bags as a way to curb their use.

Re: Daily Check in Dec 23, 2016

Good morning! Woke up to the sound of water dripping down the pipe from the gutter outside since it is right by my bedroom. DS came home at 7 for his break and he said it started raining at 6. Re: How frugal were you as a mother?

Cloth diapers at home, disposables when out and about. Commercially prepared baby food since I worked and did not want to spend more time in the kitchen. Always did sewing and mending. Meals eaten at home. Used dryer, especially for drying cloth diapers. Rarely went out so no need to pay a sitter. B...

Re: Daily Check in Dec 22, 2016

Good morning, I do not have to be anywhere for the next 5 days which I am glad of because it is so cold out! I wish I could use the fireplace but today is another no burn day. Since I have developed some mild respirator issues as I have gotten older I can't complain but I do enjoy a nice fire when i...
