Re: Car Decision - the Verdict is In.

Mine is 10, has 121,831 miles on it, and better last another 10 years. It was 2 years old with 40,000ish miles on it when I bought it. My goal - that 'another 10 years' - may not happen. She's burning oil. Not in a 'clouds of blue smoke' way, but in a 'can't see it as it burns... it's not on the gar...

Who do you use for security / anti-viral / anti-malware on your computers? We're all on Windows 10 and need things real secure. Even thinking of putting K9 on for the kids, if K9 is still around. Re: Sandi's 2019: Wow This Is A Challenge!

Enjoy your furniture. You have earned it I am sure. If your back is that bad you should do all you can to keep it ...

Re: Sandi's 2019: Wow This Is A Challenge!

I've lost count. Which is fine because we bought furniture and while that may have been a one-time on one day purchase, I feel like I've impacted the whole month - nay, the whole QUARTER. Possibly most of the year. :? I have spender's guilt. Always have, and I know why, when I was young a certain so...

Re: Do you buy furniture to last decades?

I am out of style and I very seldom if ever tire of things. I care a great deal about decor and quality furniture - not so much about being in the current style. I would never pay $11k for a sofa- but I would look for that same brand and style of sofa used, if I liked it, and have it reupholstered....
