I've started popping popcorn using 2 "new to me" methods. 1. Heat kernels in a large pot using coconut oil. and 2. Heat kernels in a paper bag in the microwave. I don't like what I've been reading regarding the chemicals used in prepackaged microwave popcorn so that's been my motivation.
Thought I'd share two sites with you in case you are interested as well.

My popcorn habit has led me to discover a new topping too. Anyone ever heard of nutritional yeast? It's been suggested as a popcorn topping and gives it a cheesy flavor without all the calories of cheese.
"Homemade" popcorn

Love this! Thank you, Delighted99!
I never buy microwave popcorn... always stovetop popped popcorn, but thanks to your ideas I'm going to have to try it out! So neat about the nutritional yeast. Never heard of that before.
