Since we are unable to have a real recipe exchange I thought it might be nice to have a virtual recipe exchange for Christmas.
Hit me with your favourite Christmas recipes from main dish to desserts and everything in between.

Not the recipe since I use a white cake mix, but the cake piled high with seven minute frosting and covered in as much shredded coconut as Mom could get on it. Have made it a few Christmas times, and family loves it.

My absolute favourite Christmas season recipe is buttery, melt-in-your mouth, whipped shortbread. I have, in past years, had to prepare more than one batch in December.

"Christmas Crack" where you make a caramel sauce (not true caramel - just a sauce - much easier) and pour over a pan of saltine crackers and bake, then add melted chocolate and whatever toppings (such as red & green M&Ms) you want. It's the only Christmas treat I'll be making this year. You can google it if you're interested in a true recipe.
