That is an awesome idea.....I might just have to "borrow" it, as I don't have much in the way of storage space either....and hate having to search for spices when I am cooking.

Feel free to borrow like mad. We storage-challenged cooks do whatever it takes. :)

The flat plastic baskets at the front left side of the bottom shelf hold the tall bottles of spices, and I have them divided up by whether they're savory for making soups and entrees or sweet for baking. The middle basket holds the spice/herb blends, like garlic salt, lemon pepper and the like. So that way when I'm cooking, I can just pull out the appropriate basket. The baskets were 3 for $1 at Dollar Tree or one of the dollar stores.

I did break protocol and hide a partial bag of chocolate chips in the savory spices basket. My guys will eat them like candy if they see them, and they never look in that basket.
