That is interesting. I just never noticed leeks before in our area before spring. I will have to look at our produce more closely. Although I am pretty much a seasonal buyer when it comes to produce. Except for avocados. They are year round even though they do have an avocado season but the growing overlaps or something so they are year round except the prices go up and down according to the seasons. In fact I heard avocados are now considered a new food group as is chocolate..lol.
We wandered in to Whole Foods yesterday looking for something specific (not leeks) and guess what we found?

Leeks.

So now I get to make what I thought I'd make last week.

Messed up my meal planning (which is wonky anyway) but at least the craving will be taken care of.

Today is a no-spend. Gloomy 'bleh' day, staying in and staying warm.

4 for 13..... 30.76%

Get paid Friday, things are on track to tithe, set aside for taxes, and save the rest. All in all considering the slow start to the year things are looking okay. That said, pandemonium will likely ensue. :?

Lucky you to live close to a Whole foods. I think it is about a 100 plus round trip to the nearest Whole foods here. Plus horrific St. Louis traffic. We have a store called Fresh Thyme which has moved in to our area. Still a bit of a long drive but no St. Louis traffic.

4 no-spend of 15... 26.6%

It seems like every time I turn around someone needs my time. Which is flattering, right? But exhausting!

I know, "Just say no," but I live in the same house as some of these people and work with the other 2, so it's kinda difficult.

Oh well. Maybe the weekend... oh, no, that's right, the weekend will be a bear, too.

I'm hangry, and must go.
