Use It Up
Re: Use It Up
That liquid hand soap lasted a long time, but I finally finished it today. Started the next lavender liquid soap. This is a bigger one so probably will take longer.

Re: Use It Up
Yesterday afternoon I finished off the last bottle of lotion from a hotel stay. So I removed a tube of hand lotion I got as a Christmas gift from oldest DS a number of years ago and am using that. I do use a lot of lotion on my hands during the winter.
I also finished off some floss, so I decided (after cleaning and tidying/organizing the bathroom) that I should start to use one of the many small sample flosses the dentist gives me in my care pack. Using the first one now. They usually last about a month so I have 10 months of free floss.

Trying to use up the bits of food in the fridge:
Added some leftover rice to the vegetable soup I had for lunch.
We have half-used tubs of frosting from various baking projects. So, baked a cake and gave it a Neapolitan frosting: cherry, chocolate and buttercream. DH wanted to know who's flag that was . (Did use up the butter cream in the process.)

The Neopolitan icing sounds delicious!
I used the last two eggs in the opened carton and two apples rescued from work, along with the last of a bag of ground flaxseeds, in making a pan of baked oatmeal.

Used up a tube of the toothpaste from the dentist that I have in my travel kit. Added another tube so it is ready to go again.
Used up the floss from the dentist that was in the travel kit as well so I added another.
