My Project Challenges for 2022

Post by Jackielou »

So I thought that I would start listing my challenges (more along the line of a project to do list) in one place. That way if I fall down on keeping up with it, I can rely on something to give me a nudge.

So here are my projects for the upcoming year.

Make at least 6 quilts from the scraps I have saved.

Finish off the quilt I started awhile back. Done

Finish the t-shirt rug. Done

Finish off some of the cross stitch projects that I have started.

Sew new draft dodgers. Done

Sew some coasters.

Make at least 5 knitted blankets.

Start work on more prayer shawls and scarves to use up even more partial skeins and balls of yarn.

Try and sew underwear (bought the fabric and elastic for this years ago).

Make some knitted Christmas ornaments.

Knit myself a sweater or two (perhaps even three).

Restock my knitted dishcloth supply. Working on

Sew some shorts for summer and a couple of winter outfits. Shorts are sewn

Make more Christmas cards, Birthday cards, and such.

Make some bunting for various holidays.

Recycle at least 5 objects into something very useful.

I will more than likely be adding to this list as the year passes and I think of more to do. Hopefully I finish more than I add.

That is a terrific list, Jackie. Will you be posting pictures of your projects on your blog?

Adding another project already.

Knitting another 7 or 8 socks. This time using the sock loom I purchased awhile ago for at least 4 pair. On pair number 5, but I haven't used the sock loom yet. It scares me.
