Boy am I behind. The dining room is completed as is the hall. I think at some point I will work on the room that youngest DS uses when he is home this week. Mostly the closet as I store extra kitchen items in there, cleaning supplies, and paper goods. Also those larger bags of flour or boxes of cereal.

It has been awhile since I posted here.

Well I finished the closets, our bedroom and the room that youngest DS uses when he is home.

All that is left is the sewing/craft room and I need to get projects done and off of surfaces and the floor before I even think of organizing this room. I could of course go to the basement and organize/clean the room that oldest DS uses when home and I may just do that at the beginning of next month. I do believe there are a few books that I could donate taking up room on the bookshelves.

Found a few more items to donate and have been dropping them off bag by bag when I go out.

Once I get a few of the projects done in the sewing/craft room I will start to organize that room a little bit more. I know there are things I can improve in there.

Yesterday I started to declutter/reorganize the sewing/craft room. Still much to do in there and things need a proper going through, but I will gradually get everything the way I like it. As well as all the bits and bobs used up. I think one of my projects for the upcoming month will be making hot pads for the DS's for Christmas, thus using up some of the larger denim 6" squares I cut many years ago, plus some of the bits and pieces of batting stored in a basket on the floor

The decluttering continues slowly. As I use items up in the sewing/craft room things are improving. Making labels for the various storage places and drawers seems to help as well. I go through the drawers and clean them out that way. Still have projects to complete in there, but they are new (I seem to add new ones as soon as the old ones are done). I did take two bags of donated items to one of our two second hand shops.

Still on the use it up and shop at home first kick. This can be a slow declutter but it is something I can handle rather than me having to decide on ridding the house of something immediately.

I actually managed to get 3 tubs of yarn cleared out which is just great.
