So I continued to make some dishcloths with the reclaimed yarn and managed to make another two more out of the yarn being previously used. Not sure if there was enough to make a third so put that one away and grabbed a different colour ball to make the one I am working on now.

I have also used up some bits and bobs making the yarn wreath, which will be totally finished today. Well other than figuring out how to hang the thing.

I used up most of the piece of upholstery fabric making the cushion covers for youngest DS. The remainder will be enough to make another reusable bag.

I also used up quite a bit of the fabric I bought for patching his quilt. The bits that are left will be cut into 4 or 6 inch squares to be used in other quilts later on.

So over the past little while I have used up a few things.

Two balls of yarn and a bit making the first scarf of the month, started on the next scarf which will use up the fancy yarn skein. I also used up some bits of the odd balls of leftover yarn and the rug backing making some coasters.

That's about it for stash use it ups other then embroidery floss which I could replace from my rather large stash of DMC threads.

I may as well finish off with the remainder of my use up the stash challenge for April.

I used most of two pieces of fabric cutting out the dress, skirt and pants. The scraps are waiting to be cut down into useful squares for quilting.

Used up (well pretty much) 4 small balls of sock yarn making two pairs of socks.

Used up more reclaimed and found cotton yarn making yet more dishcloths.

Used up pretty much the last of the quilt batting scraps to make the hotpot holders for the sons for Christmas.

Used up some of the scraps of rug backing to make coasters.

Used up some squares of cut fabric to make the hotpot holders, as well as cut strips for edging out of the supply I have, and the flannel backing was from saved pieces as well.

So it looks as if I am doing very well on the use up the stash front so far. Here is hoping I can get it down even further.

Oh my I haven't been keeping track on my stash use it ups in quite awhile.

Lets see what I can remember

Used up two pieces of fabric (the bits and bobs are put aside to cut into squares for quilting).

Used up another two balls of sock yarn making another two pairs of socks.

Used up part of a bolt of cotton to make the foundation to the table cloth.

Used up 8 partial balls of super bulky yarn and used up three full balls of the same type making the knitted blanket.

Used up the leftover batting, some of the precut quilting squares as well as precut binding, and some of the felt/flannel making the hot plate holders.

Used up yarn and some of the ready made binding as well as rug backing making the coasters.

I think that is pretty much everything, though I can remember using up some of the embroidery thread inherited from my Mom as well on the napkins.

A busy month was had in April.

Used up some fabric from my stash that has been there a number of years.

Used up 4 balls of yarn from the stash and hope to use up one more on this poncho I am making.
