Used up two balls of the darkest grey wool on a toque for Hubby. Today I hope to start the use up of some cream coloured sock yarn. I am thinking a tube type sock this time around. Should be interesting figuring out a pattern and how to divide the stitches onto three needles and keep the stitches on the needles.

Working my way through the cream and blue coloured sock yarns. My tube socks will kind of be half one colour and half the other. The one I finished looks rather odd, but really who cares.

Pulled the fabric I purchased many years ago to make a quilt and have started to prepare it for my vision... I hope my vision works out. Could be very tricky as while the shapes of the blocks are easy the idea I want to try isn't.

I have pulled some leftover fabric to make strips for the quilt I just finished. Hope to get that cut this morning and ready to add tomorrow.

I think your socks will be cute. There's an American sock company that deliberately makes them of matching colors but the patterns are different. So they obviously go together but are whimsical.

I found a piece of curtain rod in the closet here at work and used my desk drawer sewing kit to hem the piece of sheeting I was using as a door curtain. Put it on the rod and wrapped some rubber bands on the rod so that the fabric won't pop off. It looks a lot nicer now.

Used up a bobbin of thread, and two partial spools of thread doing the hand quilting. I am on dish cloth number 6 and the ball of reclaimed cream cotton yarn is still quite large. I think I will be making a few more next month to use this ball up as well as I think there might be enough on the flecked creamish/off white yarn to make one last dish cloth with. I will need to think of something else to do with the other balls of reclaimed yarn... Perhaps some market bags.

So I did manage to use up some of the bolt of cream coloured fabric I had stored away on the curtains for DS. Could have used more up if he would have let me make curtains for the basement windows....He thinks the sheets he has hanging are just fine.

Hopefully more fabric and yarn will be used up this month. I think I may be falling behind on this challenge.
