Used up the ball I had added previously and added another small one to the mix. It was more than enough to finish off the blanket.
I decided to pull some leftover baby yarn from other projects and use those to make another blanket. I did cast it on, but will not work on it until the other projects (tablecloth, and my quilt are done). I will also be pulling out the knit fabric strips I have and making a start on the rug for the oldest next month.
I may even cut out the pj's and robe for Hubby if there is time at some point in September. I am hoping to get most gifts completed by the end of October so I can start on baking. It all depends on how long my stash holds out.

Re: Use Up The Stash 2022 Challenge
Yesterday I helped my mom use up some of her stash of crafting supplies and we made fall wreaths. She brought out garbage bags full of artificial flowers, wreath forms, ribbon, etc. The options were a bit overwhelming but I managed to narrow it down and made a pretty wreath using white and rust colors.
We might do it again using Christmas items.

Used up a small ball of very minty green coloured yarn and about half a full ball of white before I got bored with white. I have added a mid-sized ball of yellow yarn and hopefully get that used up before starting with the white once again. Not sure if this will be a baby blanket or a shawl as of yet.

Used up a ball of yellow wool today. I hope to use up another ball of mint green yarn very soon.

So since I last posted I have used up the mint green leftover yarn ball I started the new small shawl with, then finished a small ball of yellow leftover yarn and topped it off with most of a ball of white yarn. Shawl done and dusted.
Moved on to another worsted weight yarn blanket. So far have used up the leftover burgundy, and small green ball. Now working on a small black ball and hopefully using up another shade of green leftover yarn next. My basket is slowly going down as I use up all these bits and orphan balls of yarn, mind you it is filling with finished products which I am going to have to photograph and find a place for.

Re: Use Up The Stash 2022 Challenge
I busted some of the stash on Sunday by finally cleaning out the scraps too small to really make anything with. There were bits and pieces that predated DS's birth, and he's 32 years old! The trash from the stash filled a large trash bag and I can finally get everything in the big fabric tub again.
I also gave to Goodwill a completed quilt top inherited from my grandmother that is just eye-smackingly ugly. It's largely red and green, but not in a Christmasy sort of way, and I've hung onto it for years without ever doing anything with it. Nor was I ever going to because it's just so ugly, but someone seriously into awful retro crafts might have a use for it.
