chili sauce salad dressing recipes.
THOUSAND ISLAND DRESSING:
1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
Dash red pepper
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. catsup
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. chili sauce

I did a google search for chili sauce...and then took a look at this sight....There are a number of uses for the chili sauce....

Hopefully one of them will work with what else you have on hand.

Thanks ladies. I want to get more into making my own dressings, and the link to recipes using chili sauce seem very interesting.

Soy flour is gone. Working on an old box of oat bran (mix with oatmeal for overnight refrigerator oatmeal.)

I am trying to do a much better job about resisting impulse purchases or items used for just one meal. I did purge/organize the pantry and give all the stuff we weren't going to eat to work friends. Two heavy paper bags of stuff I wasted money on was a painful reminder not to do that again.

I really need to learn to make my own spicey fried chicken. I bought us a 16 piece at popeyes and could have made a lot of chicken to freeze for later. I also had a very spendy month, so time to get real! cj
