I am using up some more of the 2" strips as binding on these quilts I have made. So far 3 separate colours have disappeared from the box and by tomorrow I hope to have another colour gone.

I am using yarn from a reclaimed sweater to knit those small squares. I will be taking them with me to the church today. Placing them under the table while Mass is going on and then reclaiming them once Mass is over and I am sitting by my displays.

Slowly but surely my stashes and leftovers are going down. Perhaps not as quickly as I would like, but as quickly as I can possibly make it.

More 2" strips used up, and I am hunting down more orphan balls and leftover balls to make more squares. I found a couple up of leftover balls of yarn up here to be used and I need to go through the totes in the basement at some point today.

Totes are notorious for hiding stuff. Hope you find what you want.

Used up another small ball of yarn (this time purple) and am working on a small ball of yellow (done pretty soon). I can then start on another orphan ball of yellow and clear it out of my stash.

I had an orphan ball of bright yellow yarn and finally used it up making those 4" squares.

I can see an end in sight for this finer yarn. Not many orphan balls or little bits left to go through. I hope to start sewing all together shortly... (but I am not counting on it happening this month).

Started leftover small ball of green yarn, and hope to be done that small ball by tonight so I can move on to the next small ball of yarn.

I used up 3 small balls of cotton yarn to make a hotpad for family reunion auction.

I’m working on another hotpad, will use up 4 balls of reds for it, though only 1-1/2 gone now.
