My grandmother made it probably around WWIi and cut pieces from old clothes as well as using some new fabric. The old clothing sections are disintegrating with time and I replace them with lightweight cotton fabric. Eventually, I may well have the whole thing made over as parts fail.
Oh, what a lovely remembrance of your grandmother. I have some doilies my grandmother made that are in my cedar chest. Good thing I don't have to fix them as I can't crochet!

I made a quilt many moons ago that is starting to need repairing a great deal. In this one it is more the seams that are needing to be fixed than the material itself.

Well not fabric, but still kind of, sort of. I pulled out a miniature cross stitch oldest DS brought home from the UK for me about 15 years ago. Finished it up, now all I need is a tiny frame.

So I used up some of the sheet that I used most of to make the back of the quilt (and a pair of pj bottoms for Hubby a few Christmas's ago) to make the curtains for the basement bedroom window.

The remaining small piece has been put in the donation pile.

I have used up a couple of small balls of leftover yarn knitting the small squares. I should be finished with the finer yarns very soon and will need to work on the worsted weight leftovers next. I plan on getting yarn under control very soon, even if it means lots of very strange looking blankets.

Mostly used up another small ball of yarn and am working on the next. I have a bag of bits put aside that I will figure out something to do with later on.

Another small ball of leftover yarn bit the dust yesterday. I have started on the last ball of leftover sport weight yarn I found in my search awhile back.

Soon I can start on the heavier weight leftovers.
