Thank you Janet, I'm very pleased with how it turned out - it is sooooooo soft and cozy and blends right in with my other pillows and throw that I have on my sofa (all fairly neutral but there's some orange in the mix - I love orange).

So Hubby wants/wanted me to make him some carboy covers (I call them cozies) to keep his wine dark while it is working away. He has/had them wrapped in old towels.

I do not have thick enough fabric to make any in my stash....so I am taking those old towels and fashioning his cozies out of them. Saves me fabric, and I am recycling some old towels at the same time.

Got those carboy covers made. They turned out not too bad. The DS's were giggling when I would call them carboy cozies.

I don't have envelopes to fit my Christmas cards that I made, so I will be using some scrap papers and making my own this weekend.

Good idea on the envelopes, Jackie!

I have a couple of throw pillows to be recovered (and one re-stuffed). Saw on Pinterest that someone made pillows from farmhouse-style kitchen towels. So, was looking for towels in the color/pattern I wanted when I realized that I have fabric that's pretty darn close. Not the same texture, but I can live with that. And considering what towels cost these days ...

Envelopes were fashioned and turned out not too badly.

Today I will be working on one of the two quilt tops as my project of the week. I hope to use one or two of the old sheets that I got from youngest DS awhile back as backing for both quilts. And if I actually get this one today sandwiched and quilted ready for the binding, I may stitch together some of the larger pieces of batting to use in the next quilt rather than waiting to purchase some more on Thursday.

I am also going to pull out some larger squares of fabric (those 6" squares) to use in fashioning my ereader case. I am hoping to get it to match me phone case if I can find enough of the brown cord squares.
