Please do not overdo as you are still recuperating from Covid-19. You need to slow down a bit especially as you work hard at your job during the week.MackerelCat wrote: ↑Sat Jan 23, 2021 5:24 pm I spent a little on Friday: Bought a Coke with pocket change and a dozen extra large tote bags from Office Depot for $1.49 each. Those bags are endlessly useful and I'd gotten down to only one.
That is eight days in which I've spent this month, so 16 no-spend days. I plan to buy groceries and gas up my car tomorrow.

Re: Juggling January No Spend 2021 Challenge
I took today off, Jackie. All I have done is clean the kitchen, have a shower, and make a grocery list. I woke up feeling like I'd been pummelled all over and decided a day of rest was in order. Tomorrow all I plan to do is buy groceries. DH bought canned dog food for our dog with allergies so I don't have to cook for her this weekend.
Actually, if my back and knees still hurt on Monday, I will be taking a sick day.
I was going to order some stuff online today and decided I could live without it. So another day passed without spending.

So, today will be another no spend day. Brings my total to 21 for the month so far. I should be able to string at least 4 or 5 more days of no spending together. Could be my best month ever.

I will be sticking close to home as is usual on Monday's. This means I can add another no spend day to my total. I am now at 22 for the month. Moving along nicely right now.

Frigid temperatures mean another day at home so no spending. This brings me to 23 days of no spending this month. Doing darn good here and hope I can keep it up.

Re: Juggling January No Spend 2021 Challenge
Saturday was a planned spend day, a top up shop of groceries. Sun to today have been no spend, totalling 22. I've spent just over 60% of my budgeted Jan. amount for groceries. I've really made an effort to stretch the meat and consuming less. I won't be buying food again until Feb.
