Re: Juggling January No Spend 2021 Challenge
Tomorrow will be a spend day as there are the end of the month bills to pay, grocery shopping to accomplish and a trip to the bank for our allowances (which I will hold on to until the 30th or 31st.
I also found so much yarn while decluttering/tidying my sewing/craft room that I will definitely not be buying any for a goodly amount of time, and in order to use some up I will be making a couple of prayer shawls starting next month. Think I just might do the triangle or small poncho type this time around.

Spending only 60% of your grocery budget is fantastic. Congrats to you!Happychoice wrote: ↑Tue Jan 26, 2021 4:55 pm Saturday was a planned spend day, a top up shop of groceries. Sun to today have been no spend, totalling 22. I've spent just over 60% of my budgeted Jan. amount for groceries. I've really made an effort to stretch the meat and consuming less. I won't be buying food again until Feb.

So since today will be a spend day I am sitting at 24 no spend days for this month. Pretty sure there will be no spending for the next three days, but I will keep my fingers crossed.

Re: Juggling January No Spend 2021 Challenge
I had a weak moment and bought a soda from the vending machine yesterday, so I'm at ten days. It could be nine, as I got confused at one point, but I'm erring on the side of caution and calling it ten spending days so far, which means 18 without. I have an eye doctor's appointment tomorrow morning, so there will be spending. I think I should end the month with 20 days of not spending.
Aside from buying two sodas, I have done no silly spending this month. DH even gave up beer and ice cream!

Day number 25 of no spending. Can I stretch this further? Hope so as I was a bit over on groceries this month.
