Did not leave the house so the no spend number I put up this morning...sticks.

Still very cold (Sunday is supposed to be better temperature wise) so I will not be leaving the house unless it is to warm up the car and let it run for awhile. I may drive to get the mail at some point (and just to get out of the house for a tiny bit). This will keep me at 10 no spend days this week as I am going to pay bills online.

Since my last check in Sat, the 6th, I've had 6 no spends, and now up to 9. This week has been too cold to venture out and I haven't needed anything which might have tempted me to go out.

Day number 11 of no spending. Once again it is way too cold to be out and about, I am hoping for a warm up by Monday and perhaps a warmer week all told. We shall just have to wait and see whether this stalled polar vortex leaves or not.

Temperatures are supposed to reach a balmy -27C today with a wind chill of -35C. Still too cold to be out and about. As I have said before a polar vortex does wonders for this no spend challenge. It is also stretching out the length of time between shopping trips.

This will be day 12 of no spending.

I don't track the days like you do, Jackie, but I know I've only had 3 or 4 "spend days" in February - so yayyyyyy!! I credit my food stockpile with being able to stay out of the grocery stores.

I do need to stop at Dollar Tree today for chicken broth to put on the cats' food and will look at other grocery items and maybe pick up a few things for myself - so today will be "spend".
