Fantastic February No Spend

Post by Jackielou »

Onwards to a new month, with new and exciting developments I hope. This month since there is only 28 days and Hubby has an eye appointment which we will have to pay for (change in what our insurance covers and does not cover) I am going to try for 23 days of no spending.

Yesterday was a no spend day and today will be one as well. This puts me at 2 for the month. I think that is a pretty good beginning.

So in order to beat the nasty weather headed my way I will be shopping today instead of tomorrow. Even that could be touch and go as the snow and blowing snow is set to arrive sometime this morning. That will make today a spend day, but I am hopeful of stringing more no spend days together after this.

So two no spend days this month so far.

I spent $256 at the dentist yesterday paying off the night guard to stop me from clenching my teeth. It does work, although I am a bit sad that it arrived early and broke my no spend streak right away. (Weird thoughts only uber frugal people have).

So far spent nuthin' my salary is sat there UNTOUCHED :D

On Friday I go back to work IRL instead of from home , so will actually be using petrol

Also Friday I will contribute to a collection for a child. I have £8 cash in my purse ( been in there gathering dust for a sweet FOREVER ) so I'll give them that.

I have already got a Valentine card for DH so no spend there x

I am no spend for the month so far - February's bills were paid end of January. I had the option of paying some money at work to be able to wear jeans more often - I took a pass, that is not a priority for me.
