I am being very cautious with the medication that is causing my eye problems so do not be overly concerned. I have two good eye Drs that are monitoring me for the problems with the possible holes in my vision. The holes are reversible if the medication is stopped in time. One is a retina specialist and the other my regular eye Dr who does the testing in between seeing her and the retina specialist.

I am so sorry to hear about your DH. I will put him on my prayer list. Hopefully it is something that is not serious.

Love hearing about your garden producing so well and the various ways you are making food from it as well as your store purchases. You really are a great cook and being very frugal too. You are an inspiration.
Thank you! Yes, better this year-remember my garden last time was only growing finger sized produce-even my zucchinis! Idk what is the difference between that year or this year, but thankfully they are producing bigger ones now!

His surgery will be in July...they are backed up due to COVID....but she assured us that a few weeks would make NO difference regarding the cancer. She will remove the cancer with wide and deep margins...then send it down to the lab to make sure the margins are clear. Then he will have sentinel node surgery. Radioactive dye is injected into the site (before the first surgery) then it is mapped under a machine that follows it to the first set of lymph nodes. The first few nodes are removed and will be checked for cancer to see if it has spread. That takes about a week for the results..they use stains etc. Then she will clear the margins on a spot on his arm that was biopsied and is not cancer..but has atypical cells.
IF there are cancer cells in the lymph nodes the cancer stage goes from. 1B to a stage three. She does NOT think that that will be the case..but says she can't rule that out til we have the results.
We both liked the surgeon VERY much...young...very thorough...took all the time we needed for questions.
So...we are optimistic.
DH is the love of my life. Our 49th anniversary is next week. We met when I was 17.
Thank you so much for all your good wishes. It means so very much.
Trees
Praying for good results for Jackie.
I wish your Dh well on both his surgery and his cancer diagnosis.

Will his surgeon do the sentinel node removal on the same day as his cancer removal surgery? That is how my Breast Cancer surgeon did it--they injected me with the radioactive dye about 1-1/2 hours before my surgery was scheduled to begin, so that the dye would have time to go through the sentinel lymph nodes. (His side up into his armpit will be SORE--I'd recommend that he put a thin, soft pillow between is arm & side to help.)

I wish him all the best too.

Also, Happy belated Anniversary!
