yesterday I made sourdough rolls and a cheesecake to take to DH's family.

I'm not sure that we are going to stay to eat, I'm hoping for a to go dinner.

Not to be rude, but I'm Covid afraid.

I always wear my mask over there.

Yes, they have had their shots and boosters, but....

Some of the family members go out a lot, to concerts, etc.

DH's Dr called yesterday, DH's toe is infected, and it looks like it's in the bone.

She is referring him to an infection specialist.

In the meantime, we are continuing the treatment and watching it, DH doesn't want to lose his toe.

Pray for us.

Thank you, my wonderful friends.

Update:

Just "rolled" in the door from Thanksgiving dinner....so full, bordering on stuffed and we ate at 12:30!
Packed up the leftovers and left them there. IF I feel the need to eat any I know where they are LOL. I did bring home a pie of sugar cream pie for later....much later.

It is cool and overcast but not awful outside, spitting a little rain. If it stops I hope to take a bit of an afternoon walk.

Not sure what I am doing this evening, maybe nothing. Just might hang out with my dog and call it a day.

Happy Daze, I am so glad to hear that Lucy is loving the greenery in her diet. Here's to a slimmer pup in the new year.

ICFrugal, prayers going out for healing for your husband. (((HUGS)))

We made the trip down to Atlanta and had a great time. Through death and divorce, the group has become small over the years, so the two small desserts I brought were just right.

DS stayed home with the dogs. I split the cupcakes between some to take and some to leave at home so that he could have a treat.

It was a long drive, but we had such a nice time. Hope all of you had a lovely Thanksgiving.
