It was stressful. Relative that I went with just let loose with all her issues. Darn it’s a lot. Then we went to places I’m not a fan of. They are all into “spiritual” stuff. Crystals, sage etc.

And I like to try different places to eat. Two were not good. And sibling isn’t a good cook. Wants us to eat kale 24/7. Lol.

They want to go back during Christmas holidays. I will have to decline.

I did look up the Miss Collete tours you mentioned awhile ago and they look good. Tours that Dutch friend took in South America had such long days and many days they had to be ready to go at 6 or 6:30 a.m. Not for me.

Done! I got the lights on the tree, vacuumed up the needles and put on the tree skirt (rummage sale purchase). Tomorrow I’ll decorate. That’s the fun part.

Now to finish my puzzle.

Today would normally be my "putting up the Christmas tree day" - it will have to wait till I feel better. That is the worst part about being this sick - you can't DO anything. I did manage to wash a load of towels and hang them up - that resulted in a 2 hour nap.

DD's SO brought me some vegetable broth and orange juice - very nice of him - I've had some of both. He also took Hope for a short walk around the block.

Kloey cat is hiding good - we can't find her - she is for sure here in the house someplace. Hope will find her. :-)

UGH, sorry to hear, Clem - nothing worse than a stressful vacation - yuck.

HappyDaze wrote: Sat Nov 26, 2022 6:27 am I slept fitfully, kept waking up because YouTube was playing but I did that on purpose to hopefully help with my anxiety a little bit - not something that is normally necessary but this illness is no joke - apparently breathing is optional.

Up at 5:30 and made a boiling hot cup of tea with honey and lemon (YUCK) and did a steam over a pot of boiling water. Both seem to be helping quite a bit and now I am sneezing, which I see as a good thing.

I have laundry going and have put clean dishes away. Hope went out on the run just long enough to do her business - I don't trust her out there and I don't feel like I can walk her. Dogs are tucked in and snoozing peacefully.

Zero plans for the day. I'll be calling off work on Monday and going to the doctor if not much improved. We have no urgent care or walk in clinics around here and this doesn't warrant a visit to the ER. I may give DD a small grocery list today - just some canned soups and whatnot. Everyone have a good Saturday.
I'm so sorry that you aren't well.

sending prayers to you.
