Great day today!

It snowed last night, just 5 inches of powder. I went to the Senior Center this morning and walked for 60 minutes. Yoga was cancelled. Then I went to Shaws grocery for milk and Italian sausage. I also purchased some great sales. I spent just under $50.

I spent the afternoon making packages to mail to cousins .I have a cousin that is one of the USA specialists fabric artists with Indigo. I had lesson dying cloth and designs a while ago and we made a dozen table clothes for our cousins. I spent much of the afternoon fixing the packages for mailing.

My FIL gave me a tabletop convection oven that has never been used and was sitting on a shelf inthe basement. I dusted it off and tried tator tops in it tonight. So GOOD! I think I will use it instead of my oven on a few items. It uses less electricity. I think I will also take it camping. My camper does not have an oven.

Dinner was loaded burgers( Bubba Bugers given to us by a neighbor) and tator tots.

Watching TV with DH.

Take care,

Flagstaff. He missed the GC from Flagstaff. How this is possible? He says they "never thought about it."

DH left an unopened can of diet coke int the cupholder of our Jeep overnight at the snowmobile camp. It was about 20 degrees. I went out to the car the next morning and discovered that the entire round top of the can had blown off. Frozen soda Diet Coke was everywhere. On the ceiling, in every crevice of the dashboard, coating the seats, on the windshield, in the CD player, in the cubby holes, in the door latches, in the carpet...EVERYWHERE!

Take all soda out of cars if the temperature is freezing!

Unfortunately there is approximately one inch of solid ice between the forty feet separating me and my car, and surrounding my car, So there is literally no way in hell that I am walking out to the car, never mind trying to force open he car. What will be will be, and the cost of detailing is worht my well being, lol, if it comes to that.

Exactly what I was going to say. Those things explode when frozen.

There i certainly a possibility that they will have exploded in the case when I get out there. But with a one in sheet of ice, and nothing but tennis shoes and 27 degrees, in this climate that's not happening. a broken hip is not in my future and my daughter was right. We'll see what happens tomorrow when I can get to it and the case of water. I appreciate that someone with better balance or proper footwear might see things differently.

wow - I loved the Grand Canyon! My mouth literally fell open when I first got through the few trees and saw it - magnificent.
