well, happy day

DH called the police again,

he doesn't like the new oxygen concentrator that came yesterday.

we got a "new" one because Dh and I wanted to be able to take oxygen with us in the car and the new one can fill the canisters, he thinks that it's too big and too noisy and he wants me to put in on the deck that is outside of kitchen where his bed is.

it's raining so I wouldn't do it.

it has messed up my day and the dogs' day.

so the police came and listened to both of us, no report will be written.

DH also wants someone hired to help him out, with what?????

wow - can you tell his doctor about these episodes? Would they give him something so he can calm down?

IC, first of all, (((Hugs))). Only you can tell if this is confusion or meaness on his part, but the police get a gold star for their patience.

I agree with Clem that this needs to be discussed with his doctor. It has always sounded like he was not ever going to be well enough to live at home and needed to be in a residential hospice. They did a disservice to you by dumping that much nursing care on you.

I will third or fourth discussing this with your doctor and that he needs to go to a residential hospise or else you need full time (or at least full time day(, hospise care.

Also, I have to ask. Do you have medical power of attorney for decisions? I just kind of assumed you do. I am I am wrong, then now, now, now, my friend.

(((Hugs))) IC. I’m sorry that you have to deal with your DH’s anger in addition to all the medical/nursing chores you do. Your DH reminds me SO much of my father and how he treated my mom when she was caring for him after his stroke. You and your DH have a special place in my prayers every night.
