Rough night again. Waking up every couple of hours. I did settle down enough and finally got up at ten.

Had a little bit of coffee. Now thinking of breakfast. It feels like Saturday.

The COD is showering - guess he is going to his therapy. He goes on Tuesday and Thursday. I thought he might not go since it rained a bit overnight.

Weather is supposed to get rough tonight. Lots of wind and maybe hail - I hope not. Pups will be terrified!

Everyone stay safe. Owned hope your pup is home!
I am sad to say, my dog has not been seen. We have posters out and on every pet place we know. Offering a reward we hoped if anyone had her, they would return her. I believe someone has her. She was less than 25 lbs and friendly. Neighbors have not seen her. I have 2 more dogs, but she was my chair buddy so I really miss her and she was my daughters dog.

Owned, I am so sorry. If someone has her, I pray they are treating her well. (((Hugs)))

I moved my laptop, printer, and pile of paperwork to the bedroom and dug into it. The most tedious thing was going ahead and applying for state retirement, which I probably don't qualify for as part of my time was classified as part-time at 37 hours per week.

I made up a photo collage of Dora Kitty and sent it and a letter to the rescue we adopted her from to let them know how well she's doing. That was fun. Also printed out a ton of recipes I had emailed myself, scanned some stuff, and cleaned up my laptop.

Tomorrow I need to tackle the messy drawer in the big filing cabinet. Also need to put the Powell's book app on my laptop and see about selling some excess books. Not looking to make a lot of money so much as clear some space.

It did warm up by late this afternoon, making it pretty pleasant to walk outside with Goldie Dog.

It would take me a very long time to count! Probably at least 100 bars, restaurants and catering services and I’m not joking! We do serve a very large catchment area and many people travel here from long distances to access specialized health care. Having a university and a community college doesn’t hurt either.

Are you able to order from Amazon and not pay a surcharge for delivery? I found it pretty handy during the pandemic for some specialty food items and household goods since I didn’t want to venture into the stores for in person shopping.

Yes with Amazon Prime we can order certain things and not pay delivery. We also have a fairly large area, but it seems that most people will go to the capital, Winnipeg, or Saskatoon to do their shopping. Some even go to Minot, Bismark or Great Falls.

Update

The sun has come out this afternoon and melted a bit more snow, even though the temperatures are still below freezing. Hoping bit by bit things clear up. The day before my specialist results trip and the day of the trip we are supposed to get snow again. Keeping my fingers crossed that the forecast is incorrect. I hate driving on windy snowy days as the snow packs on the highway and turns to ice.

I knit another two patterns on the top of my sweater and hope to get at least two more done tonight. If things keep moving along like this I could actually be finished this a bit sooner than I thought.

No pictures on the trail camera last night, but there are strange tracks on the back deck, so Hubby will be moving the camera back there. In looking at different tracks in the snow I am really afraid that these are rat tracks. Keeping my fingers crossed that they could be mice, but they are pretty large. We should know by tomorrow morning I hope.

In my decluttering drawer frenzy I managed to rid myself of a few pairs of pants, some tops, and I even did a quick run through the closet reducing that area as well. I will continue with the closet tomorrow. All in all I took 17 items to the second hand store. Hope to take the same or close to the same tomorrow.

Watched the recorded shows (FBI franchises) and now am listening and watching The Mandelorian on Disney+ which we get through youngest sons generosity.

Tonight after getting the dishes stacked in the dishwasher and those few items that need handwashing done it will be knitting and TV again. Hopefully to bed early and I get a better sleep.
