Prayers and good thoughts!!!! Take that gate down!!!!clemencia2us wrote: ↑Thu Mar 30, 2023 12:36 pm Ugh. Good morning
Quiet day here today. Thank goodness. I’m just going to relax.
It happened again. I was in a hurry and didn’t get my leg completely over the dog gate. Down I went. This time cut the inside of my mouth. Lucky didn’t lose a tooth. My back is sore.
That thing has to go.
The Cod kept bringing me small ice packs and that helped
Wah. Send prayers and good thoughts. Thank you.

Florida...$700. is a lot cheaper than two new floors! Also cheering for Disney!!!!!!!floridacatlover wrote: ↑Thu Mar 30, 2023 12:59 pm Hello friends.
Logics, you were very smart to check the label thoroughly. Very, very misleading.
Clem, you take care.
I wrote a long post and lost it. In a nutshell, I met with the terrazzo guy. It sounds good. It is $700 for both bathrooms and will take 1 1/2 days. It might not be perfect but I think it is worth a shot. I like the terrazzo. I’ll let him know in the next few days after I check on him a bit more.
I have felt like crying all day for no reason. Now home, I took an anxiety pill. I don’t like to take them every day but need it today.
Later I’ll listen to opening day of our baseball team at 3 p.m.
I’m cheering on Disney today because they quietly screwed Ron DeSantis’s retribution of Disney’s opposition to Florida’s Don’t Say Gay law.
Disney 1, DeSantis 0.

FloridaCat, that is a really good deal on the floors. Way less expensive than replacing them. Home renovation is actually quite stressful with all the decisions to make and the emotions it stirs up. (((HUGS)))
Logics, you are a very sharp shopper. Good on you for not falling for that faux olive oil.
Clem, you really need a walk-through gate, hon. I hope you feel better soon. You were lucky not to break a bone,
I have been puttering. Ordered Goldie Dog some heartworm preventative, then went to Ollie's Outlet for weed killer, K-cups, two new bath towels, and a 12 oz bag of Sun-Maid raisins for only $1.99. If anyone has priced raisins lately, you can appreciate that amazing price.
Found four more bags of books in the hatch of my car, so those went by Goodwill after leaving Ollie's.
On the way home I stopped at Food Lion and bought two more of the little smoked, presliced hams that were on sale (they are delicious and less expensive than luncheon meat), along with some smoked cheddar that's on sale and a bag of sweet peppers.
Tomorrow I need to get to the hardware store for mulch and some fertilizer, but that's it for my spending plans.

Thank you all for your comments about the terrazzo. I really had no idea of a price but it sounded fair to me so I’m happy that you all think so, too. I did a bit more research on him and will call him tomorrow to say I’d like to go ahead and schedule it.
I’m feeling better since I’m home.
Like Mackie I’ll go to the hardware store tomorrow. A new Ace Hardware is opening not far from me. They are offering a free house key and also 8-packs of AA and AAA batteries for $1.99. (I do not trust the batteries from Dollar-and-a-Quarter Tree.) Also a select-a-spray hose nozzle for $6.99. I have to check HD and Lowes online to see if that is a good price. I need a new hose nozzle.
The bank where I got my recent CD called. They need a photo of my license. The guy who helped me at the bank was very nice but slow as molasses and not tech savvy. He was back working from a previous banking career. I’ll go there tomorrow.

Update
Clem be careful. I sure hope your back gets better.
Floridacat, good price to repair the flooring.
All household tasks completed, and I have started on the size 8 mitts. Hopefully I will get most of this pair done today. Then I can sew them all up and start those green ones.
Hubby picked up an on sale turkey today. He was worried they would all disappear as I said I would pick one up next week for Easter.
Off to do more knitting. Once I get 20 pairs finished I will do some embroidery work.
