Good Morning folks,

I got up early and after a few minutes of technical issue, worked out to a video and then walked a mile on the treadmill. Go Me!

I did spend about an hour at my sewing machine last night. Maybe I will do some more tonight.

Hubby has bowling league tonight, so he will not be home for dinner. I may pull out some sloppy joes from the freezer for DS, or he can have beef and broccoli leftovers from last night.

Have a wonderful day,
Maggie

Good morning fellow frugalites

Warmish, again this morning so my morning walk should be just lovely. I am hoping to get the laundry started before I head out. I have a few extra items to wash this week and two of the three will need ironing.

It will be the usual Monday on the old homestead. I have quite the list to accomplish and hope to get back in the sewing room to set up the machine for sewing my coat. I also want to get the markings transferred for the buttonholes and such. I should be able to start constructing it (as Hubby would say) late this afternoon, or on Wednesday. So many new techniques to master in this one.

Frugality wise there will be no spending today, laundry will be done in the usual frugal manner, meals will be made from what is on hand in pantry, freezer, and fridge, my morning walk for frugal exercise, reading an inexpensive book picked up at a yard sale this summer, and then of course there are all the little things we do and just can not remember.

Supper tonight will be something made with leftover ham. I really need to find something Hubby enjoys as much as his scalloped potatoes and ham. I need something new!!

Today I am grateful for the quiet, steadiness of my days.

Everybody have a great day. Take care.

Good Morning

i had a quiet and lazy weekend. i went for coffee with a friend on Saturday and phoned my sister last night but that was the extent of my socializing.

I bought the ingredients for muffins but was too lazy to make them - maybe tomorrow.

i did get my homework done for my printmaking class and got my tools and materials put away.

I'll go down to the laundry room in a few minutes to get 2 loads out of the dryers. Then I'll head out for exercise class.

lunch will be soup from the freezer with toast, and supper will be a porkchop and kale.

After lunch I'll be going to my art class. It's quite mild out and there is no snow, so no boots needed.

Tonight I'll be watching a movie and maybe the democratic town hall.

There is some thumping above me this morning so expect that apartment is being prepped for a new tenant.

Take care,
AnneX

I have been busy this morning. I gathered the trash and put it out. I had more then usual. This is good. My daughter had a very over scheduled weekend, she had to work on Saturday. Plan a birthday party, so she just made a flying visit yesterday she changed my sheets then left, the sheets are in the dryer.

I didn’t want to get out of bed this morning. I didn’t fall asleep until late. Most of that was because when I transferred my pills into the empty pill bottle I put into the bathroom. One of the pills fell onto the table. I found it but couldn’t find the other missing pill. It was still in my pill sorter. But it took me a few minutes to find it.

I have towels to fold, the larger bath towels are already folded and put away.

I hope to gather and get rid of more stuff. I would like to be able to stack a lot of books to get rid of so that I can tell my friend to come by and look through them.

Good morning, frugal friends. Our weekend snow was gone by this morning, which is exactly how I like it. :) Today there will be the routine chores and household frugal practices going on. Have no need to leave the house, and that's always frugal.

I do have to try to clean a microfiber ottoman that one of the critters threw up on. DH tried to clean it Saturday morning instead of waiting for me to see it, and he made an awful mess of it. It may require taking the fabric off it to clean it, and that will be hard to do.

Hope everyone has a lovely, frugal day.

Good morning. I was able to get to work and restart all the computers by talking to the boss by phone. Roads were passable and no traffic early. Going home will be more crowded so need to be careful.

I think I am starting a cold. DH was coughing for several days but denied being sick. He just said he is going to the store for cold remedies so I guess he is sick after all. This means I won't try to visit DF on Tuesday since a bunch of old people do not need my germs. I will try to let DM know. Not sure who will be able to go and visit him given the snow and roads.

Stay warm.
