Clem, you need a break from your family/life for a small while. I realize all families have issues, but sometimes you just need to "step back" and let it go for a short while.
We went to the Apple farm/pumpkin patch today.....so much fun!!!! We ate at a family owned pizza sandwich shop first and then to the Apple farm, visited their petting zoo which was all baby farm animals, then pony rides, riding the tractor trolley to the orchard and pumpkin patch. Came home with good unpasteurized cider, local honey and enough of my lunch to have again for supper. It really was a really good day. Actually riding the trolley I told my daughters it looked like a magazine cover for Fall. Of course they had a gift shop and it was so busy, we didn't buy anything, like I told the girls ....we just had a yard sale, we don't need to buy anything else!
Tomorrow it is back to real life, sleeping in and then I really want to clean house and if not windy, rake some leaves. Might make some doughnuts to go with the cider. Or apple dumplings....they sold theirs for 5.00 each.
Off to see what everyone is up too.
Have a great evening all.
