Sorry to read that the haying is playing havoc with your allergies JCKitty. I hope you manage to get rid of the poison ivy.

Update

Emailed myself the pictures of our trip (don't know how to do the sharing onto this computer as of yet). Got Hubby's camera and downloaded those pictures as well. I just have my tablet left to do.

My meeting lasted about an hour, which really wasn't that bad. I still have managed to get most of my work completed today. I have to vacuum the floors still, but if I don't get that done until tomorrow that's no biggy.

Soup is cooking on the stove and I will be making grilled cheese sandwiches shortly.

I sent a text to youngest DS saying we would pick him up for the football game around 5:30 tomorrow night. We will have something to eat before the game.

Off to finish supper on this wet and dismal day. Then to find a few things to share with Bev.

Talk with you all later.

Hi all,

I figure a late check-in is better than no check-in! I haven't been here a while. I've been busy with the usual work-home routine. DS is doing soccer so I'm a taxi. Then there's nights DS won't sleep in his bed, makes his way into mine, and wakes me up the in the process. And then I never get back to sleep! Those days I am just beat when I get home from work.

Today I got grocery shopping done in the morning. This week I'll be making a Santa Fe chicken recipe that sounded good. Chicken breast with a black bean, tomato, and bell pepper sauce on top. DS was happy to get ice cream.

I'm about to purchase a birthday gift for one of DS' friends who conveniently has a registry.

Hey Delighted, it is nice to see a post from you, being a young mum is hard and finding time is challenging to say the least. I am googling the chicken santa fe, sounds delicious !
