littlemiss63 wrote: Tue Nov 06, 2018 11:00 am Good Morning Everyone,

I am up early and enjoying a nice cup of hot chocolate this chilly fall morning. We had strong winds and tornado sightings last night, but thank the Lord other than a yard full of leaves I am in good shape. I am glad that it wasn't as bad as they predicted all day yesterday. Some areas were hit harder than others though. I had planned on cutting up leaves later on in the week anyway so maybe this will be my last mowing for the year.

I will be playing Rook this afternoon so my to-do-list is a short one for today. I moved some of my regular Tuesday Chores to Wed and Thursday to kinda spread them out and it's doable for me. I want to save Friday and Saturday for grocery shopping and cooking up a few treats for next week.

Jackie, I know it's unnerving to get a medical call as you did, but I am hoping for the best for you. I am like you, I think of the very worst news when something like that happens. I guess it comes from all the years that DH had cancer, we waited after each visit to see when the other shoe would drop. It's not any fun.

Logics, sounds like you are right on top of things and you've always impressed me with the way that you handle things.

Janet, bless your heart I wish I was there to drive with you on your trip. You just be careful and stop if you get tired. Congratulations on the weight loss, I am watching what I eat this week as last week wasn't a no gain week. LOL

Clem, your little town sounds like a lively little place.

Maggie, hope your Mother's eyelid surgery goes well. Have had several friends that have had it and it was done for medical reasons, but it also made them look so much younger until it was like a little mini face lift.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day.
Libby I will be ok. I use to live in the town where the NP's office is and I know there is a lovely little park that I can go to have a snack and watch the ducks in the pond.. That always made me feel better when I was out doing errands when I lived there.
It is so kind of you to acknowledge everyone's posting. It a is a nice gesture that takes time and it is appreciated.. Thank you..

Janet, you are to kind. I love to read everyone's post and instead of commenting on each one individually, I like to do it in my daily post. You just take good care of yourself, I worry about you.

Well suspicious cells were found and so she has referred me to a specialist in the big city. I am just glad she wanted me to come in to tell me in person. Now just to wait for the call or letter. I will walk up to the mail in a bit to see if anything is there.

So glad that they caught this and that I finally have a doctor. Just hoping they caught it soon enough. Hubby is taking it pretty well. I can tell he is worried though.

Taking it easy (well as easy as I can) this afternoon. Talk to you all later.
Jackie, sending prayers up for you. I know how nerve wracking this is.

Hugs and prayers, Jackie. And also for all those here grieving, sick, or getting over surgeries. *hugs*

I went to work today, sounding awful but feeling a good bit better. My voice is stuck in a strange high pitch and will be like that until the inflammation gets out of my throat. Once in high school, I lost my voice for a month after getting sick. So there are worse things than sounding like the love child of Tweetybird and Don Knotts! :-D
