Do you mean brca?

I am BRCA1 positive—for breast, ovarian & uterine cancers.

I have been feeling like Dr Maurer, the gynecological oncologist, has some other agenda and that is why she is pushing me to get this hysterectomy done Now! *sigh* Why can't Drs treat their patients as human beings with real thoughts & feelings, instead of just another number to be added to their latest research project?

What does your regular gyn say? It sounds as if you have no confidence in this doctor. Perhaps you should consider getting another referral or a second opinion?
