Yes - LittleMiss - do what you have to do to make your life run smoothly

I like Schwan's but there are other meal groups you can join - the ones that get mailed to you.

Will you drive yourself to dialysis?

I slept pretty well even if I did wake up multiple times during the night.

I am went grocery shopping this morning. I tried to get my flu shot but the insurance company hadn’t entered the data yet. So I have to wait. Very frustrating.

I fixed a small rib eye steak for lunch with an ear of corn. I got three meals from my steak.

I am very tired as we had to wait about half an hour to be told the information was in the system yet. I wasn’t the only one told this.

Walmart still hasn’t straightened out my pillow problem. I was told the other pillow would be here on Friday. No package no pillow. I will call Monday.

I slept okay. Got up about 7.

My leg still hurts but not as bad. I can get around, just have to put off my exercising for a few more days.

I"m just going to stick around the house today. Rub aspercreme on my leg.

The excitement continues - :D

Hello All. Janet, I love Fall too!! It's a bit cooler here today as well.

I am tired today. Worked job #2 until until 1:00 a.m- there were two displays to be assembled and set up plus all the regular work. I did manage to get a good night's sleep anyway - until almost 9:00 a.m.!! I am shocked to my core that the dogs let me sleep that long.

I am still struggling with this virus - or whatever it is - but slowly getting better.

Got my car fixed yesterday (exhaust system and front brakes). I need to get new windshield wipers (cheaper at auto store so didn't have garage do that) and want to get it professionally detailed - then see #1: what dealership would offer me for a trade-in and #2: what I could sell it for myself. In the planning/thinking stages regarding purchase of a "new to me" vehicle.

I'm off - have a few more things I need to do online and the library closes in one hour. Have a good weekend everyone.

Good morning,
I worked almost 25 hours this week. I definitely got my 10k steps in per day most days. I would go home exhausted every day but then slept well and was up ready to do it again. My jobs involve supervising kids and walking and no stress. They do take up time but I really feel like overall it keeps my healthy in spite of the aches and pains. And getting paid to stay fit is icing on the cake!

Eating nothing but the healthiest foods I can has really helped too. I still cannot lose weight and maybe at my age that ship has sailed but feel like I can still stay on top of my health by working and eating right. I find I really am able to work and feel much better so I will keep on keeping on. My financial goal is to have both my van and my house paid off in four years or sooner. If I can keep up the work the payoffs might occur sooner.

One of the things I have had to do for better health is curtail my wine consumption. I do love that liquid fruit of the vine but must cut down to the recommended amount of one average size glass per day. Being type 2 diabetic I have learned there are about 4 types of wines that diabetics can use in moderation. So I am cancelling wine club member ships except for a couple. I am going with a friend for her wine pickup and I will do tasting and buy one bottle per winery (3 bottles at the most) but that's it. I have plenty at home. My son in his quest to lose weight and be healthy has given up his vodka and drinks about 1-2 average glasses per day. So we are slowly using up what we have and I will use the storage space for other things.

Well I need to get dressed so I am ready when she wants to go.

Good afternoon everyone,

Bright and sunny out but very cool. Woke up and the house thermometer was only registering 19 C or 66.2 F. I was almost tempted to turn on the heat but just opened the window binds wide to let in the sunshine. It's now at 21 or 69.8. Had to put on a long sleeved t shirt and pants.

This morning dh and I went to Superstore to take advantage of their tax free event and stock up on some specials - mostly stuff that is taxable such as toiletries and paper products. Dh wanted some fresh salmon for dinner which was on sale as well. It needs to be descaled and filleted. I'll leave that nasty task to him - yuck!

I put on a load of tea towels which I'll hang out to dry but think I'll wait a few days for the other laundry.

We did our long distance jog this morning before going to Superstore. I ran a very good time - guess I was trying to keep up with dh. But now I'm feeling tired instead of energized.

We got an email from EasyJet and I ended up paying in advance for our checked baggage. That cost almost as much as our airfare, but I guess that's how budget airlines get you. But it costs less by paying in advance than if you leave it until you check in. An unavoidable cost though!

Well I should find something productive to do,
Creative
