I woke up a bit too early. I have been busy since I got up I have stripped my bed, The sheets are in the washer.

I am only doing one wash load today.

I have made good progress getting ready for the carpet cleaning. I still have a few things to move off the floor. The rest I will do tomorrow morning: dining room chairs, the laptop table under my table, and the footstools.

Penny, you would think that with seniors they would move those things off the floor for you. I hire someone to do mine, so thank goodness the Carpet Cleaning Guys move everything. Chairs, dressers, couches, and tables. They don't move some of the stuff every time. I have mine cleaned every 6 months.
Unfortunately they don't when I had my house the company I hired they moved everything. They don't even treat spots. They move nothing.

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Enjoying a nice lazy day, it is cloudy but I love cloudy days to read. I fixed me a nice breakfast of oatmeal and toast and just had a lovey hamburger with onion and tomato. I am going to top it off with a fresh peach and call it good.

My daughter called this morning and said she had ordered me a battery operated throw to use at Dialysis. The reviews aren't good on it, but if it will give me a little extra warmth during treatments it will be a great help. I intend to put it close to my body then layer a little lap quilt and sherpa throw on top. They don't allow us to plug in anything. That is the only discomfort about the whole things is that you get very cold if you don't have cover.

I have done all my household chores. I may have to get me some household help once a month for the heavy cleaning, but for now am going to make myself do it. I find that zone cleaning has been wonderful for me and with doing a little bit everyday it will keep me active. I want to keep things as even in my life as I can until I know what to expect.

Hope all of you are having a wonderful day and everyone who is having health problems like myself are in my prayers.

Lazy, easy morning for me but did just get back from the ATT store, cell wouldn't text or receive texts. I am not a techie so had them fix it. I don't push buttons because it would be my luck that everything would be lost forever

We will be going to mow at dads here in just a bit...believe t or not the grass is still wet from the heavy dew. I also need to mow here at home.

It is a beautiful Fall like day, I am itching to put out Fall décor, but the kittens will try to destroy stuff so will wait a bit longer. I do need to put together my outdoor Fall wreathe.... I just love Fall.

DD made some tortellini with sauce for lunch, made enough for her work lunches also...it was pretty good but having it once is fine with me, she could eat pasta daily.

I want to work on some sorting and list making so will read and catch up before starting that.
Hope all are well,
JCKitty
OMG - I love tortellini! I first had it in Sicily and i was in love. There they made it with cream sauce and ham - well prosciutto. So good!! All their pasta was wonderful. I buy it frozen from Schwans and can eat it by itself of just a light topping of either tomato based or cream sauce. And i also throw the extra ones in salads.

Libby I think you are doing the wise thing. I do a lot for myself and one of my caretakers got mad at me because I got myself a drink of water. She said I should have asked her for help. What the heck? I told her she was here to help not to make me more disabled.. Do what you feel like doing but do not overdo things trying to be brave...lol. Rest is important too. I use to push myself through to the end of whatever and then it exhausted me too much to do anything else. So if you are half way done with something and you feel tired stop and rest. You are the only one there so do not feel like you
need to get through something before resting.

Sweet of your DD to buy you a battery operated throw to stay warm. I bought one for my Mom to use in the car she seemed to never warm up even with the heater going.

I am going to cook a hamburger in my air fryer for dinner tonight. I rarely fix hamburgers at home due to the smell while they are cooking make feel nauseous. I am hoping that letting it take care of itself in the air fryer will help.

Today it is sunny and warm, more pleasant than yesterday. It is comfortable capris and t shirt weather. I didn't need to put on pants today. Jackie, I don't think we even had one day that reached 30 degrees C this year - got pretty close to about 28. So our summer has been much cooler than usual as well.

I went for a very long walk today to savour each moment of summer we have. Then helped dh in the yard. He trimmed our two Japanese yews and I cleaned up the clippings. That's a bit hard to do as all around the yews are river rocks. I also deheaded the flowers, cleaned up those never ending useless apples and watered the pots and garden. Also did two loads of laundry so more than enough to keep me out of mischief.

Have a great Sunday!
Creative
We managed to hit 30 twice this summer, a very long way from the usual.

Boy it is warm out there again, but i just know fall is around the corner!

Well i did my bi-weekly church thing. I enjoy it. But i didn't go to mass this week.

Is it bad if i quit going but still do my tasking? All i hear is complaining about our priest amongst my friends that i go with. I feel like they do not realize that he is the BOSS of the parish.

So i figure i might go once during the week and skip the weekend service. Will keep me at peace.
