Gayle, I am so glad that you are essentially cured and the chemo is extra insurance. And happy for Janet that what she has is benign.
I saw the neuro ophthalmologist on Monday and he changed the medication for my cerebral hypertension to something with fewer side effects. He also scheduled a scan of the arteries and veins in my brain to see if there's anything there that may be causing the hypertension. He said so many things with my eyes formed differently that it's worth a look. If this leads to a cure, I am all for it.
It has been raining buckets for days here, so much so that water-logged trees are crashing down. Tonight is turning off cold, so DH brought in all his potted succulents and put them under the grow lights in the garage.
My single mom friend backed out of the yard sale we planned for Saturday. I am going ahead with it, though, as I have a lot of clutter to clear out. Will be freezing my behind off, but junk out and cash in will be good.
Today I gathered up more stuff for the sale and slew the Paper Monster that had taken up residence in the kitchen on the counter by the fridge. Also filed a stack of medical documents dating back a year and a half that was piled up on my desk. A paper tray is just a procrastination device for me. And I wrote and sent some thank you notes to nice folks at the church job who gave me little going away gifts. These were the note cards I got for pennies at CVS after deploying Extra Care Bucks.
Tomorrow I will take some stuff by the local food bank and price yard sale items, and make signs and put them out. And buy groceries, if I get a chance. Whew!
