They were just tossing and turning and kept waking me up. They are taking up too much room! Will need a nap later today.

It is very cloudy outside. Kind of warmish too. We are expecting a mild cold front. Thank goodness. I am not ready for the extreme heat. Will be in the 40s - nice sleeping weather. It was in the high 80s south of us - yuck.

I have one task to take care that requires me to get dressed - - and that will be about all I can handle today

Have a great day

Good afternoon ...

Weather here was miserable yesterday: snow, freezing rain, then pouring rain, Looking a bit wet outside, and is cold and dreary.

Jackie, that rummage sale does sound like fun!

Gayle, glad things are a bit better today.

Anyway, had a nice dinner with DH's college friend. We may see him again before he leaves, depending on his schedule.

I just finished with the sheers. I did have to hunt a wall anchor and screw to fix the second rod's bracket. I also had to tweak the sheers. We have tall windows, so many ready-made panels are either too short or too long. I went short, hoping for enough material in the hem to reach the needed length. I was right. The hem isn't deep, but this does the job — just an inexpensive sheer to provide a bit of finish/privacy for the junk/craft room.

So, have a couple of other things to take care of ... might actually get around to baking those muffins. But first, some lunch.

Good afternoon all,

Wolf said it all, grey, gloomy and cold here....take it from me ,it sucks.
I had to go to town to pick up my taxes, will probably go back this afternoon, found a rather large spider and need bug spray. I am pretty sure its from the firewood but i am not having this!

I guess i will have to start leaving it out on the deck instead of bringing it in to the stove platform.

I thawed boneless, skinless chicken thighs, i will pound some of them out for fritters, cook some for salad or noodles..haven't made up my mind yet. 6 in a pack so at least 6 servings.

I would love to clean windows but the weather isn't good enough. I really need Spring!
Off to do some puttering.

Quick Hi my eyes are still blurry. Spent the morning getting ready and then spending the rest of the morning at the eye Drs office for evaluation of my cataracts. Surgery sometime in the near future her office to call to work out details. Then to BIG Lots for necessary items and some unnecessary was also bought. Then to the post office to mail my nephew his birthday card. He is the youngest boy but now 41 or 42. I forget now which. Home to rest while listening to TV and cuddling with Teddi. Bought him a cute fleecy throw at Big Lots with bones and doggie things on it. Currently using others but this will look so cute in his crate. He also looks so cute since his grooming yesterday and he has his Big Boy Tee shirt on. It is navy blue with white stripes and a collar.

Have a good and frugal day. I already blew my frugalness today.

Good afternoon, frugal friends. It's another cold and rainy day here. I gave the dogs a bath with some new super moisturizing shampoo (they have had dry skin) that was not expensive and found a little flea on Goldie's tail. I suspect Ollie Cat picked up some fleas on his overnight adventure outside because he was scratching last night.

So it was off to the vet for Capstar flea kill pills for the five fur kids ($38, ouch) and me getting clawed up by Ollie getting the pill down his throat (also ouch). The dogs seem much more comfortable now.

I had the last of the lentil soup for lunch today and think I will roast a chicken for supper. That will make some good leftovers.
