Good Morning,

So in my state, several counties will be under a "wear a mask in public" order as of this evening. This includes the County I live in, where DS1 lives as well as where DS2 lives. The big cities in Ohio. I am ok with that.

I did hit play on a 1 mile walking video. I need to do a longer one.

Life is rather slow and boring.

Have a great day,
Maggie

Good morning Maggie and all

Up early to start getting ready to hit the trail

Our small town extended the mask ordinance until August. Has to be worn when going to stores etc

Not required while exercising. We have new cases daily. Even our town mayor had the virus and is just now coming out of quarantine. In time for monthly meeting. Several were there remotely. I know one for sure is in quarantine.

oh well lets see what trouble we can get into today.

Good morning Maggie and all,

The weather is unstable here in Central Florida. We are beginning to get our normal summer rains, but they are coming at any time of day. They can be gentle or blustery and without warning. Yesterday, late in the day, a mean one popped up and boom, all the plastic plant pots I had stacked up to put in storage were scattered all over the patio.

Yesterday, I contacted my insurance person and she said she called all over and no one could answer my home security questions. She was shocked. She said they were good questions. Then we discussed her problem with tankless hot water and hot water tanks. So hubs ordered the security bars for the garage window. Arrive here next week.

Today, I continue organizing and de-cluttering. Colorado State U has upped the forecast on hurricanes, essentially doubling every category. The Gulf and Atlantic waters are hot, hotter than normal. And it seems as if we are getting more land canes as well. A new word for strong low pressure with hurricane like spin over land. If we revisit geological history, there were periods of unstable weather often associated with extreme and sudden climate change. It was an unpleasant time for mammalian life.

Today, I will grocery shop at Winn Dixie. They have a good price on pot roast. Hubs enthusiastically said yes to a pot roast. So we are having crockpot, pot roast tonight, of course, cooked on the porch to reduce house heat load.

Today, I am grateful for coffee. It seems to taste especially good this morning. Have a good day all.

Good morning beautiful people,

Sunny and warm today- a welcome relief from the extreme heat we have had lately. It doesn’t look like it rained during the night as it was supposed to, so that means I will need to water the garden and pots after treatment.

I have a consultation with my radiation oncologist and finish treatment this week. After a three week break, I will then begin my long term hormonal treatment and life can return completely back to normal. It’s been pretty much that for me already, aside from not jogging. I will probably slowly try to get back into it, going very early in the morning before the heat gets overwhelming. We get both extreme cold and heat.

Nothing much else planned aside from the usual household chores. Yesterday was my pickup day from Superstore. There were a lot of substitutes and unavailable items so I wasn’t too happy with it. But we’ll make the best with what we have. I plan to try to call the strawberry farm to see how you book your slot. I couldn’t find the information on the website. Perhaps because the berries aren’t ready yet?

Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone!
Creative

Also thinking of Gayle and how she is doing one day post surgery.

And add me to those worried about dear Janet. I truly miss her posts.
