I absolutely love it despite the fact I've only used it a couple of times. I have kept 1 dinner plate out that I keep in my kitchen closet that I can pull out anytime I want to. I keep thinking about getting a single silver charger to go with it, but end up changing my mind when I do get the opportunity.
Logics...DO get the silver charger!!!!

Good morning beautiful people,

We’ve got your cold weather now Jackie and our predicted high is only supposed to reach-1C. So I decided to move my workout indoors onto the treadmill. I did the 35 minute weight loss workout and followed up with sit ups and some light weights. I am glad I came up with some motivation to do it. It somehow was easier at the gym with the companionship of other active seniors.

The sun is shining brilliantly so I think Dh and I will go out at some point for a drive- just for a change of scenery. Some days it does almost feel like we’re under house arrest. I am finding things a little challenging.

I will need to go grocery shopping in the next few days. Most of what I get is fresh produce and we still have a few things to use up. Dh has the tendency to want to eat what’s freshest and not what needs to be used. Not to mention, spacing it out saves money. But sadly we don’t have much to spend our money on right now anyway.

Off to do some reading!

@Florida, I did keep my Christmas dishes. I don't think I switched them out this year, but I just might on Thanksgiving. With having such a large extended family, the idea of spending Thanksgiving, let alone cutting back on Christmas get togethers is very depressing to me. But I picked up a somewhat inexpensive set at Meijers (Comparable to Walmart or Target, and Meijer's had Groceries before the other 2) years ago. It did not sell well, so I got it on Clearance. I also have 4 Christmas mugs from Longaberger gifted to me years ago.

They dilated my eyes at the Optometrist yesterday afternoon, So I did not drive down to my support group meeting. But I spent $375 for exam and glasses, and that is with insurance. I think I got spoiled going to Walmart vision center.

I overslept a bit again this morning. I have not been staying up late at all. I did wake up in the middle of the night, but it did not take long to go back to sleep.

Have a great day,
Maggie
Maggie, I know the upcoming holidays are going to be difficult for you. If I lived near you we could have a little outdoor...bundled up..Christmas party for two. I would love that.

It is cold here. I am not sure just what the low for the day will actually be but it was 39 according to the news this morning. Much lower than the predicted lows of last night. I am very glad that my heat works.

I hurt a lot this morning, my right index finger not so much but that is because I hurt in other places today.

I checked my mail, gathered and put out the trash. I want to try making something from a gallon water bottle.

In the COVID thread I posted a link to an adorable poster that can be printed. But I am adding it here too.

I did not get good sleep last night courtesy of my dog... :? He was pacing the hall and wanted in with me. I finally got up and very sternly told him no, and brought him into the sunroom. He is very stubborn(scottie).

I have touch up painting on my list today....I don't think the areas I have picked will take long but am waiting on a tele call before I get started.
Trying to pay a bill but the book keeper was having major issues with her accounting program and will call me back when she gets it taken care of. Small company, they know I pay early/on time so they aren't worried. But I want it paid.

It is very grey and overcast today, and I will confess to having "no mojo", I am feeling anxious and for some reason...angry.
Like Maggie, facing the prospect of the Holidays possibly alone but most definitely a small group otherwise. Gone are the days of having enough people to eat a huge turkey and have enough people to play games.

No idea what meals will be today, at this point really don't care  I have plenty to choose from.

Just hugs....COVID is so wearing on everyone.

Heading out to my dental stitches out....yuck. The surgeon's office is an hour and a half away, so I will hop into the Target there to pick up some thing I need..if it doesn't look too busy. I am so paranoid about shopping anywhere, but I should do it now before the weather gets bad. Right??????
