Mackie,
My Scottie is my only dog...DD took hers with her when she moved into dads house.
You have a good memory!

He really has made a remarkable recovery, he no longer has any head tilt at all.
He still acts all woebegone when the girls are here though, it's because they talk almost baby talk to him ie, poor baby , etc. He is quite the player.

it is sunny out right now, will try to get outside and pick up sticks for awhile...exercise and fresh air.

Maggie, fingers crossed and a prayer that your test is negative.

Jackie, I'm so sorry your DS is still enduring attacks from this crazy man. I hope the powers that be can at least get him out of town. I can understand why you're losing sleep over this - it would upset anyone, and especially a mother.

Happy Friday, everyone. If it weren't for my hubby working from home I wouldn't know the date or even the day of the week. I feel so disconnected and discombomulated. I'm frightened for the election though and plan to stay in as much as possible next week. I hope the vote count is firmly decisive so there will be no real question about who won. Of course, I pray it goes to my candidate, lol. But either way, I just hope for peace.

Had a dentist appointment this morning, just for him to check the post for my implant. I go back next week for him to finish the implant and fix a crown issue I'm having. After that, I hope I'm finished with dental issues for a long while.

I have a pound of hamburger in the fridge but I'm not sure what to do with it. I've had a taste for chili dogs (don't judge me please!) for quite some time. I haven't had a hot dog in many months. So....that might be on the menu. Trouble is, I don't think DH likes chili dogs and I hate to make him eat a plain hot dog for supper. So I might do a hamburger casserole and just make myself a chili dog one day soon.

As long as I take my pain pills on a regular basis, the pain in my left foot is tolerable. But it's awful, I have to take a pain pill in the morning as soon as I wake up and before I get out of bed. If not, I can barely walk. I'll be glad to see the podiatrist next week and I hope he can help me get some relief.

Has been a busy Friday morning

My older senile pup got tangled in tv cables. He wouldn't let me untangle him and he bit me several times. He is not all there. I finally was able to move the cables and then had to drag him out from under the tv area. He got me good several times.

Then the foodbank was begging for folks to show up to get stuff, so i got dressed and went. They loaded up my vehicle and I went and dispersed it out to different folks in town. Some people don't have rides to get there

Then i came home to relax and here comes the COD - his truck broke down and it was towed home. He wanted to borrow my car and I said NO - we are getting you a rental. Got that done in about 45 minutes. We are lucky to have a rental place down the road. Then went to lunch.

My house is a mess. I need to clean and sweep - but i feel so lazy

It is a nice day - sunny and cool.

Will pay nephews utilities this month. Its weird that things have worked out money wise. This pandemic has made me or helped me not spend -

Clem, take care of those bites, especially if he bit your hand. DH was bitten on the wrist by our old corgi and it required heavy duty antibiotics. At the end of that poor old dog's life, he was in so much pain that he bit everybody in the house at least once. It was very sad because he'd always been such a friendly, happy dog.

I've been spraying it with alcohol

He's blind and somewhat deaf. He still goes outside on his own.
