Re: Reading the Alphabet
Finished my "Q" book. Queen by Right by Anne Easter Smith.
Moving on now to the "T" book and will look on my bookshelves to see if I have a book for "U".

Re: Reading the Alphabet
Read Tidelands by Phillipa Gregory. Started on the "V" book, but am looking for my "U" read. It is getting harder to find things on my shelves, but I believe I have something on my ereader for that letter.

Re: Reading the Alphabet
I keep repeating letters when I find something interesting, so this is going to take a while.
Repeating "G," I just finished "Garbage Land: On the Secret Trail of Trash" by Elizabeth Royte, which chronicles a year in which she traced the course of her family's trash and waste from her home in Park Slope, Brooklyn, New York, to its end destination. Along the way, she experimented with composting, talked to various organizations about composting, sewage, turning plastics into lumber, recycling, landfill reclamation, and what really happens to plastic waste, industrial waste, old cars and discarded Christmas trees. She has a light touch on a heavy subject that made it a really good reading experience.

Re: Reading the Alphabet
Read my "V" and "U" books.
V was The Vow by Linda Lael Miller
U was Uncle Tom's Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe.
Started my "W" book last night, but think I will go with my first choice. It is a novel written by our niece based on what she saw and learned in the Sudan.

While the Sun is Above Us by Melanie Schnell was my "W" read.
I have started my "X" read and am only a few pages into it. Getting closer to finishing this challenge than ever before.
