30. Use ham bone when making vegetable soup. Really good!
31. Make copycat corn muffin , cake and brownie mixes, store dry ingredients in pint jars. Tape a sheet with instructions on top. Usually just need to add egg, oil, liquid. A mix costs pennies to make this way.
32. I can make corn bread, brownies, cake in the microwave. Find a good recipe that works. This saves turning on the oven in summer.

33. On those sunny days of summer close the windows in the morning to keep the cool night air in. Make sure you close your drapes as well.

34. In the winter open drapes to let the sun shine in during the day. Solar heating does wonders. Close them at night to keep warm air in.

35. Leftovers can be made into delicious new meals.

36. Close vents in rooms that are not used often to save on heating and cooling them.

37. If you have one, use your wood stove for winter heat, and save on electric & gas bills.

38. Wear layers on less cold days (I actually do this on my subbing days where I’m cold in mornings, but know afternoon will be warmer).
