Recycled 2 5 gallon free buckets into worm towers and filled them with kitchen vegetable waste, used coffee grounds and shredded paper(must shred some documents). They are sitting in the garden, cooking.

Thanks Dg Florida. I was talking to my in home care aide yesterday and told her compared to millions of people around the world that are suffering so much ie no or little food or home and living with all kinds of deprivation I have no right to complain. I live so much better than so many people. Janet Alliesmama

Used some of my free tree mulch to build a new flower bed around the ac unit.I had already put down recycled old carpet as a weed barrier against the house. Very effective. I then put stones/pebbles on it one foot out, then a cheap plastic divider and then recycled cardboard under a bed of mulch. Makes the area much more tidy looking.

Reused some concrete edgers. Got 6 barrels from my neighbor who had recycled an old floating dock.

Recycled the quilted top of a quilted mattress cover. I sewed up a couple of rips in the cotton surface fabric and trimmed off the worn-out elastic fabric around the edges. It's such a good weight that it will make a great duvet stuffer for DS's bed, and I already have two flannel sheets to sew into the duvet cover.
