Hubby recycled an older toilet inners to fix the problem we had with flushing this morning.
I have an old sheet that will be recycled into quilt backing fabric.

Re: Recycling August Away
I love making quilts with old sheets, Jackielou. I did that many times over the years. However, when we moved, old sheets and many other things did not move with us.
Re: Recycling August Away
The clean, washed, dried tee shirts are now sleeveless. The sleeves will most likely become girl wipes. The shirts now need the neck materials removed. Many choices with the shirts, so I need to think carefully which new clothes I want.
Re: Recycling August Away
Finished old tee shirt recycle. A nice around the house skirt using a long, lonely shoe lace as a tie.
Re: Recycling August Away
Some of our older t-shirts have been cut into rags, or I have cut some 5" squares. I have had in mind making a rug from all those nicer squares I have managed to salvage. I hope to do that very soon. A nice soft rug in front of my sinks would be lovely.

Re: Recycling August Away
Today I start the recycling of some of those 4" squares of fabric saved from various clothing items that were too worn to go to the thrift store, but still too good to be turned into rags. I get to start the Christmas quilt for oldest DS.
